TULSA PARROTHEAD CLUB OFFICERS 2012

The following are the Tulsa Parrothead Club 2012 Officers and Chairpersons.  The President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer are elected by the general membership.  All other positions are appointed by the board.

Cathy and her husband David have been members of the TPHC since 1996.  She served as secretary from 2006-2009.

Cathy has been able to go to somewhere between 20-25 Buffett concerts in Dallas, Frisco, Vegas, and Chicago.  But her favorite concert was a FREE concert on Galveston Beach in 1992

Her favorite Buffett songs are “Tin Cup Chalice”, “Come Monday”, “Who's the Blonde Stranger” and “One Particular Harbor”

Joe has been a parrothead since 1991, a member of 3 different parrothead clubs and a member of TPHC since late 2009, along with his wife Jeanene. He has seen Jimmy Buffett 6 times, the best concert being either 1998's “Don't Stop the Carnival tour” or 2010's “Under The Big Top Tour” (his wife's first Buffett Concert) . His favorite Buffett song is “Tryin’ to Reason with Hurricane Season” off of one of his favorite Buffett albums “A1A” , the other favorite album being “Fruitcakes”

A little known fact : Before Joe would marry Jeanene , she had to know several Jimmy Buffett songs and be able to sing 3 of them from memory and Margaritaville could not be one of them.... then to stack the deck , he gave her an iPod for her birthday with a load of Buffett on it. They are still pretty much newlyweds, having only been married since November 2009. But they did date 33 something years ago when Jeanene was a 17 year old high schooler and Joe was the older guy, her father disapproved of.

In real life Joe has been in retail sales and management and has also worked as a freelance photographer.

Joe says “…the reason I am a parrothead is I enjoy the music, the lifestyle and all things being a Jimmy Buffett fan encompasses. I want to serve the members of the club, the community and the Trop Rock nation with enthusiasm and vigor.”

Stacy DeMas - Joined the Tulsa Parrot Head club in May 2010 after attending a meeting with friends Paul & Anita Hardy.   My favorite song is Margaritaville but sadly I have not attended a Buffett concert YET!  I really enjoy attending the meetings and events and look forward to getting more involved by being on the board!

TPHC Member since August 1999.

So far....I have attended 8 Buffet Concerts.  Hope to add many more to that total.

I have served as Secretary, Vice President and President.

My favorite Buffet song....if I have to pick just one – “One Particular Harbor”.

The reason I joined the TPHC-Besides being a major Buffett fan/beach bum type, from the first meeting I attended, I loved all the fun events and great things the club does to give back and help others.

I am beyond thankful for all the great times and wonderful friendship the TPHC has brought to me over the past few years.  Good times for a Good Cause w/Good People!
