The Tulsa Parrot Head Club is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to gather like-minded people in the celebration and appreciation of the tropical attitude depicted by the music and books of Jimmy Buffett, to assist in our local community and environmental concerns, and most importantly, to have a great time!

NEXT MEETING:

Tuesday, September 14th-The childen of Parrot Heads are now back in school or off to Universities.  It is time to chill and enjoy a date night out. Please join us at 7:00 PM @ FISHBONZ (62ND & SHERIDAN, TULSA)

Meetings are normally the second Tuesday of each month.

Come join us for Buffett tunes, conga lines, drink specials, charity raffles, and occasional delights for your palate!  Please remember to bring your name tag.

September (Busy Month) Lots of Phun!
     14th:  Regular Meeting Fishbonz:  School Supply Drive.  Think back to the days you were in grade school and bring paper, pencils, markers, tape, and pens; by now you all know the drill, bring school stuff.
      16th - 19th:  Rock 'N Rib Festival at the BOK Center.  Our club may will invited to host a TPHC booth Spetember 18th.  We will need two PH per one hour shift starting at 4:00.  It our time to show Tulsa who we are and that we "Party with a Purpose".

Saturday, September 18th: The Buffett band will be Cruize Control from Missouri.   Gathering times and other details to follow.

    17th:  Flight for Sight at Christianson Jet Hanger, Jones Airport. For further information please contact John Hedge.
     24th:  Golf Tournament Pre-Party at Wagoner Elks Lodge; 7:00 p.m.  Someone mentioned something about minnows, drinks and minnows in drinks?
     
      25th:  TPHC Golf Tournament at Western Hills Golf Course; stating time 9:00 a.m.  Forget every lesson you were taught:  Watch Caddy Shack and you will be one with the ball.

 REWIND:

The "Boley's Bash" was a great success and lots of fun!  Many thanks to Jim and Jan Wollenschlager for bringing the Italian Sausage. (I had three servings) Moe and Pat Hogan for cooking and presenting the art lesson. To the fisherman, Keith Neal  along with Kathy Thompson for the o'so good croppy.  We also had the opportunity to share this event with the Wagoner Club Gypsies:  Johnny, Kim, Jeff, Debbie,Jim, Pam and Kevin and Kevin's wife (Sorry but I forgot her name). If any one has picturs, please send them to John Hedge.  I would like to post them on our picture page.
